Designing Hospitality Through Materiality
Haier’s new global design guidelines marked a significant shift in the brand’s visual identity, moving away from the traditional association between black and premium positioning in favour of a warmer, more human-centred and materially rich design language.
Our challenge was to reinterpret the hospitality lounge at Roland-Garros, creating a contemporary environment aligned with the new brand vision while highlighting two key product categories: the Kitchen Experience and the Washing Experience.

Custom Furniture Design
The project included the design and production of fully bespoke furniture systems developed specifically to showcase Haier appliances within a sophisticated residential-inspired environment.
For the Kitchen area, we selected a combination of concrete-effect finishes and warm wood textures, creating a balance between craftsmanship, contemporary living and architectural presence.
For the Washing area, the design language evolved towards aluminium-inspired finishes, reinforcing a cleaner, more technological aesthetic consistent with the product category.
All furniture elements were designed at full height, reaching 3 metres, transforming the appliances from simple displays into integral architectural features of the space.

Reimagining Space
The lounge spans approximately 70 sqm indoors and a 30 sqm outdoor terrace. Drawing inspiration from the look & feel shared by the client, the design embraces a palette of neutral tones, natural textures and tactile materials to create a warm, residential atmosphere.
Wood, concrete-effect finishes, brushed aluminium, woven elements and greenery work together to add depth and character, while lightweight architectural features enhance the perception of space without altering the existing venue.
The result is a welcoming environment that feels larger, brighter and perfectly aligned with Haier’s evolving brand identity.

Inspired by the Court
The architectural concept draws direct inspiration from the world of tennis, translating iconic sporting elements into a refined hospitality environment.
Soft arches define the space, subtly echoing the curved grip of a tennis racket and transforming a familiar sporting gesture into an architectural language that enhances perspective, rhythm and visual depth.
Above, woven net elements reinterpret the texture of a tennis net, creating a lightweight and dynamic ceiling feature that reinforces the connection to the court while maintaining an elegant and understated aesthetic.
The result is an environment where sport-inspired geometry meets warm hospitality, creating a seamless dialogue between the tournament atmosphere and the Haier brand experience.

The Result
More than a product showcase, the Haier Lounge 2026 became a spatial expression of the brand’s evolving identity.
Through architecture, materiality and carefully considered storytelling, the project transformed a compact hospitality area into an immersive environment capable of communicating innovation, comfort and contemporary living.
A space where design enhances perception, products become part of the architecture, and every detail contributes to a coherent and memorable brand experience during one of the world’s most prestigious sporting events.
